Cons: The collar is very stiff and overlapping surfaces touching the cat's neck dig into the neck a bit. Also, the collar is on the large size for an average cat so the excess unused end with extra holes is long - this loose end sticks out a lot since the material is so stiff. Most rubber bands, and any little girl's ponytail holder is stronger than the flimsy band of elastic that's supposed to hold the two parts of the collar together, unless there is an emergency requiring the cat's quick release!
